A Decidedly Useful Guide to Behaviour Change

Because if you're not changing behaviour, what are you doing?

Following last year's 'A Decidely Useful Guide to Marketing,' this seemed like a good next instalment.

We all want to drive action: clicks, signups, sales, shifts in perception, habit formation, loyalty, or at least repeat purchases.

But real change doesn’t usually come from shouting louder. It comes from understanding what drives people and designing smarter around that.

So, I wrote something to help. I like to think there is no fluff or filler (but I often ramble with purpose and I write like I talk), just practical thinking, applicable models, and examples of behaviour change done right.

This covers everything from nudges and prompts to defaults, identity, friction, and reward. It’s for anyone trying to move people from intention to action and from action to lasting impact.

If you want or need help with this, let me know.

Best wishes.
